Public Busses

Aalborg Local Bus Service (NT)

The local bus system provides excellent means of transportation between the City centre and the Conference site at the University. Transportation time is about half an hour.

Price is about 15 DKK to be payed in cash when entering in the front of the bus. Ten-Trip cards (2 zones, about 100 DKK) can be bought in kiosks and on petrol-stations. Several people can use the same card on the same trip.

From Hotels to the venue: Auditorium B-C, Fibigerstræde 15, Aalborg University

All busses have a common access point, where Nytorv meets Østerågade. The bus-stops closest to the hotels are indicated on the City Centre map.

Park Hotel is close to bus-stops for bus 2, 4, and 9

First Hotel is close to bus-stop for bus 1, and 400-500 meters from bus 2, 4, and 9 at Østerågade

Hotel Chagall is close to bus-stop for bus 1, and 300 meters from bus 2, 4, and 9 at Boilevarden

Arriving at the venue:

The lines 1 and 9 goes directly to the door of the Conference Site, while there is a short walk of 500m when choosing line 2 and 4. When getting on the bus, ask the driver to announce the appropriate bus-stop at the University (see below).

Outside Hotel Chagall: every hour at 29 and 54

At Nytorv: every hour at 05 and 35

At the library close to First Hotel: every hour at 06 and 36

For the lines 1 and 9 ask to get off at "Fibigerstræde 15" (short: Fib15).

Bus line nr 2, the line going towards GISTRUP or FJELLERAD:

At Nytorv: every hour at 00, 15, 30 and 45

At Boulevarden: every hour at 01, 16, 31 and 46

At train station close to Park Hotel every hour at 03, 18, 33 and 48

For line 2 ask to get off the University on "Niels Bohrs Vej" (in the top of the map) or at "Fredrik Bajers Vej".

Bus line nr 4, the line going towards UNIVERSITETET:

At Nytorv: every hour at 00, 15, 30 and 45

At Boulevarden: every hour at 01, 16, 31 and 46

At train station close to Park Hotel every hour at 03, 18, 33 and 48

For line 4 ask to get off at "Amtsgården" on Fredriks Bajers Vej.

Bus line nr 9, the line going towards UNIVERSITETET (Extra busses may not work!)

At Nytorv: every hour at 08, 23, 38 and 53

At Boulevarden: every hour at 09, 24, 39 and 54

At train station close to Park Hotel every hour at 11, 26, 41 and 56

For lines 9 ask to get off at "Fibigerstræde 15" (short: Fib 15).
